The hotel is located in the Historic District of town, within walking distance to everything. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and had a balcony overlooking the restaurant/bar area, offering a lovely area to relax. The service was a bit lacking as there was a private party with a DJ playing loudly until midnight under our room, which was disappointing. The location is the absolute best for exploring Fredericksburg and the surrounding areas. The dining experience at the 'Bistro' was satisfactory with a nice selection, but prices could add up quickly. Overall, a charming location with room for improvement in service and noise control.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the view of Caroline street from the 3rd floor. The service was exceptional, although a private party with a DJ playing underneath our room was a bit of a disturbance.
